Q: All I have is a blue or black screen what do I do?
Check your TV to make sure it is tuned to
channel 3 and your digital box has power.
Q: My guide just says to be announced, what happened?
If you have recently unplugged the digital box or experienced a
power outage it will take anywhere from 30-45 minutes for the information to
download back to the box. If the information does not start to fill in after 1
hour notify the office and a digital technician will be notified to troubleshoot
the box.
Q: My digital box is making a loud hum noise. Why is it doing this?
You probably don't have the digital box set to optimal
stereo. By changing this setting in the on screen TV guide menu it will
automatically set the digital box volume to 3/4 and then you will adjust your
audio on the TV only.
To change these settings please do the following.
1.) Press the menu button on your digital remote twice (2). This should take
you to a different menu.
2.) You need to scroll down by using the arrows on your remote until you see
setup on the screen.
3.) Highlight the setup on your screen by using your arrows, and then press the
ok button on your remote. This will take you to yet another menu.
4.) Now highlight the audio setup on your screen.
5.) Next arrow down once to the optimal stereo selection. If this says no use
the right or left arrow to change the selection to "yes".
6.) If you get to this point, and find out that it has already been set to the
optimal stereo please call the office and a technician will be notified to check
the digital box for defectiveness.
