Things to check before you call!

Q. I have no dial tone on my phone.  What is wrong?

Q. Why does my phone has a static noise when I use it?

If you are experiencing other phone troubles, try using processes listed below.

• Do you have a spare phone? Unplug the troublesome phone and plug a new one in or one you know that works.  It could be a bad phone.
   
• Caller Id not working?  Unplug phone or Caller Id box and plug back in.

Q. I have no dial tone on my phone.  What is wrong?

A. Make sure all cords plugged in tight. Is the gray line cord plugged into the proper portion of the jack? It may be necessary to try all openings to get a dial tone. Is the connection secure? Unplug the line cord from the back of the phone and plug it back in. This acts as a reset.

Q. Why does my phone has a static noise when I use it?

A. Check the line cord and handset cords for exposed wires or cuts. If cords are in bad shape, please call for a tech to come out and repair.

Q. Why is my phone not ringing or not ringing very loud?

A. Check all the volume control and ringer buttons, slides and controls. You may have it turned down to far. Also make sure you did not you switch your ringer off
